We received an enquiry to help two co-owners of a small business have a difficult conversation together about the direction of the business and their working relationship. Following a few hours of productive mediation conversations, the key issues had been highlighted and next steps were agreed to improve their relationship.

A senior leader enquired about a way to improve team communication in the organisation. Following a discussion about various options, they booked a DISC Team Workshop.

The team thoroughly enjoyed the interactive activities and were surprised by the accuracy of their DISC profiles. The business leaders also found it useful to have the reports and debriefing session, so as to understand how best to lead, manage and support the different individuals in the team.


DISC Workshop - Team Communication

We received an enquiry regarding a manager, in a large organisation, who was finding it difficult to manage individuals in their team effectively, particularly in regard to giving feedback on performance concerns to specific team members. Following a month of regular executive coaching sessions, the manager felt much more confident and equipped to hold feedback conversations, which were an essential part of their role.

As for many executive coaching clients, this manager find their coaching time useful for exploring options, learning new techniques, and having a confidential space to discuss work.

There was a history of difficult interactions between two individuals in different teams in a manufacturing organisation. Following an exploration of the background and key issues, a multi-party mediation was held with the individuals and their line managers.

As communication differences was a factor in the dispute, each participant received a DISC profile, which was used to explore what had gone wrong and how things could change for the better. The mediation concluded with considered reflections on what had happened and agreed actions to improve their working relationships.
